Feel the heat throughout your body in the barrel sauna.
Circular barrel saunas allow hot air to circulate easily around the room, making it easier to warm up. Hot air naturally descends along the circular ceiling, eliminating the discomfort of direct heat contact with the body. Since there is no place for heat to escape, it is also possible to raise the temperature higher. Designed from scratch by owner Suganuma, the space will satisfy both professionals and saunas.

Sauna "Totooto" (to get in shape). Beginners may not be familiar with this concept, but at mokumo, we will explain how to make even beginners feel comfortable and how to enter the sauna. Because there are no other guests, you can enjoy yourself at your own pace.

Equipped with original cold water bath
Once you leave the barrel sauna, the original cold water bathtub is available in front of you. Even adults can immerse themselves in the water up to their heads. The standard is 30-60 seconds (or your choice). After cooling your body, you can sit on a chair, close your eyes, and relax.

Rental space for refreshment
It doesn't end with the sauna. A private rental space (rest) is also included in the fee. The quality of the rooms is as good as that of a resort hotel room, designed for "how to spend your time after sauna. Equipped with showers, toilets, and beds. What are the temperatures of the sauna and water bath?
The barrel sauna is wood-fired, convection type, room temperature is around 85 degrees, and can accommodate 4 people at a time. Self-launge is available. The water bath is around 18 degrees Celsius and can accommodate 2 people at a time.
Wood stove? Electric stove?
Our barrel sauna is wood-fired. A self-launge is also available. If you wish to self-launch, please do so every 15 minutes. Excessive water may damage the stove.
What should I bring on the day of the event?
Please bring a bathing suit, water (mineral water, etc.), and a change of clothes. Naked use is not permitted.
Are shower rooms available?
Shower rooms are available in the private restrooms. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels are provided.
How do I pay?
Cash, credit card, and electronic payment are accepted. Please make payment at the facility on the day of the event.
What is your recommended stay?
The private time is 180 minutes per set. We recommend that you enjoy the sauna for the first 90 minutes and then take a nap or relax in the rest room for the remaining 90 minutes. Of course, if you are familiar with sauna, you may use the sauna for the full time. However, please use the sauna according to your own physical condition and take it easy.

Masanori Suganuma
Born in Shiga Prefecture. He has over 25 years of carpentry experience. Architect Masanori Suganuma runs mokumo (Suganuma Construction) in Onna Village, Okinawa. He specializes in custom-built houses and remodeling, and is a leader in mortar molding and barrel sauna production in Okinawa.
Recently, his "moon" mortar sculpture has been a big hit, with one million views on SNS. Now, he receives requests not only from Okinawa Prefecture but also from all over Japan. He and his wife Kiyoko are involved in dried flower production and the sale of mortar Ryukyuan traditional house items.
On his SNS, he shares his daily life and work. He has appeared in many media and TV programs. His hobbies are sauna and SUP. Green apples are his favorite. With a motto of "manufacturing that brings a smile", he provides satisfaction to customers.
